Road Trip to Save the Stitches: Sustainable Stitching in North Carolina

This amazing coffee and churro shop is right across the street from the Scrap Exchange shopping center. I enjoyed a chai and churros made right in front of you.

Cocoa Cinnamon has a really fun art gallery wall. Sip your beverage and enjoy some art.

Pine Gables of Aberdeen is a fantastic bed and breakfast. The owner and operator makes exquisite beadwork art and a fantastic breakfast.

We ate dinner at Double Eagle Bar and Grille in Aberdeen, NC. I recommend the hamburger covered in homemade pimento cheese and ask for a side of grilled jalapeños. Yum!

A short walk from Pine Gables of Aberdeen to the Double Eagle Bar and Grille for dinner. You walk over the train tracks and see some awesome railroad goodies. What a lovely stroll in downtown Aberdeen, NC.

I took an epic road trip to Durham and Aberdeen North Carolina this past weekend. It was amazing. It was a whirlwind trip filled with epic needlework finds and good southern food. I highly recommend stopping at the Scrap Exchange and Scrap Thrift in Durham, NC. Are you heading down to Disney World? Make a stop in Aberdeen, NC and stay at Pine Gables of Aberdeen.
