Who is Ardith?As a twenty first century needleworker, I wanted to name my company after something meaningful and historic. Thus I decided to name it after someone in my family's lineage.

We believe in diversity, inclusion, legacy, and sustainability. At the core, we wish to share the joy of needlework. By using the name Ardith we hope to inform and celebrate historic needlework, help stitchers to celebrate and preserve their needle art legacy, and to proudly shape and inform the future of counted cross stitch. Ardith Design promotes conservation, diversity, inclusion, needlework preservation, and textile sustainability. About Ardith DesignArdith Design LLC is a small design studio located in Central Maryland. The founder and lead designer is Amanda Mae. She is a best-selling American cross stitch author and modern counted cross-stitch designer. She creates original artwork and then translates her vision into original cross stitch designs.
Amanda Mae hosts a weekly Flosstube video on her YouTube channel. She loves to showcase vintage and salvaged needle art in her segment "Save the Stitches." She is passionate about sustainability and sustainable crafts. 
Luna Moon pug and Loki Apple pug are the office assistants. Their work includes appearing on Flosstube episodes, lounging, and providing cuddles.
