2025 Nashville Needlework Market: Trade Show for Cross Stitch

I will be away at the annual cross stitch wholesale trade show being held in Tennessee from March 7-9, 2025. Hundreds of needlework shop owners and their team members attend this closed event in order to purchase stock for their retail and online shops. There are over 120 exhibitors: thread and floss companies, hand dyed fabrics, needlepoint canvases, cross stitch patterns and kits, embroidery kits, needlework tools and accessories, and so much more. This is the largest needlework trade show held in the United States. Last year I met owners from shops in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, and all across the United States.

New to counted cross stitch? No problem! I will teach the fundamentals of cross stitching as we go through the step-by-step process of creating a small cross stitch motif. Next we will start making our adorable animal ornament. By the end of the class your crafted ornament will be complete. You will be able to go home and finish stitching up your cross stitch piece. Once the cross stitch is completed, simply attach it to your adorable and lovable animal ornament!

The Class includes the cross stitch and craft kits for you to complete this project. 

Cross stitch kit

• Hand dyed 16 count Aida fabric
• Size 26 tapestry needle
• Mini Embroidery Scissors
• DMC 6 strand cotton embroidery floss
• Mini bamboo embroidery hoop

Craft Kit

• Chenille yarn
• Painted clothespin
• Ruffled crepe paper
• Button
• Tinsel yarn
• Eyelash yarn
• Pre-Cut animal head. Two animal heads to choose: fawn pug or calico kitty cat
• Feather accessory

Hot glue guns, glue, craft scissors, beads, paints, and inks will be available for finishing and to further customize your creation!
